Critical
Access Healthcare, LLC. was formed in 2007 to bring unique solutions
to Hospital Districts and governmental entities related to their
rural communities healthcare needs. Bringing significant experience
in Hospital Operations Management, proven reimbursement expertise
and significant capital resources through our associations with
multiple capital financing sources, CAH develops solutions that can
allow
communities to access new hospital facilities, new services and
other improvements.

CAH was founded by Charlie Slaton, a seasoned healthcare executive
with over 20 years of profit and not for profit Hospital operations
experience. Slaton served as the CEO/President of MedCath, Inc.,
(NASDQ) a specialty Heart Hospital company with 15 hospitals and
over 35 outpatient centers. He also served as Senior Vice President
over Tenet Texas, a 15 hospital division of Tenet Healthcare (NYSE)
producing over 2.0 billion of revenue. Slaton has had operational
responsibilities for over 45 hospitals in 17 states, ranging in size
from 25 beds to 1,000 beds. He has consulted in mergers, acquisitions,
feasibility and viability projects as well as the sale of three Vanguard
Southern California Hospitals in 2006. Slaton received his BBA and
MBA from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas and completed the
Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School in 2001.
Slaton has served on the Board of Directors of the Texas Hospital
Association and the Board of Governors of the Federation of American
Hospitals.
